Nov 14, 2022 · The University of Cambridge fees for students with Home status will be £9,250 for the first year. Continuing and new students from the Crown Dependencies will have Home status eligibility for paying fees. If the course has a year to be spent abroad, it will cost 15% of the tuition fees for that particular year at the University of Cambridge.

At first, the examination was oral and consisted of questions on mathematics and some philosophy. Later, the candidates wrote their answers but the questions were dictated and finally, in around 1790, the questions were printed. Thus was born the Cambridge Mathematical Tripos, the grandparent of every university examination in the world.

Feb 12, 2013 · The original Botanic Garden of Cambridge University was founded in 1762 in the centre of the city, now known as the New Museums Site. It was the former garden of the Austin Friars, purchased by Dr Richard Walker, Vice-Master of Trinity College, in 1760 for £1600.
