Il Vermont (pronuncia italiana /verˈmɔnt/ o /ˈvɛrmont/; in inglese [vəɹˈmɒnt]) è uno stato federato degli Stati Uniti, situato nella regione del New England. Il nome deriva dal francese e significa "monte verde", proprio come la catena delle Green Mountains che attraversa lo Stato.
