You can spend all day in Plas Newydd if you do all the walks around the grounds as well as the house. There is also a nice café there. But half a day is enough to do the house and the main walks if you're in a rush. The Sea Zoo is close by. The station is also close, but not that much to see there, unless you want to visit Pringle to do some shopping.
Q:
Is this place pet friendly ?
A:
Yes, dogs are more than welcome in the grounds on short leads. Everywhere except children's play areas, the house and terraced garden.

Hi, For confirmation I have just been on their website and it states: 1. Designated mobility parking in main car park. Drop-off point 2. Buggy shuttle service for visitors with reduced mobility (subject to availability) 3. Adapted toilet in the Old Dairy near car park 4. Building - steps to entrance, ramp available. Ground floor accessible to manual wheelchairs. 5.Three wheelchairs, booking essential Some parts of the extensive grounds are level especially alongside the Menai Straits but other parts are on a slope and it is uphill back to the car park and a fair walk - hence the buggy shuttle service. The Whistler Dining Room mural is on the ground floor so is accessible. I would not think they would allow motorised wheelchairs due to space restrictions and the damage they could cause. If you have any doubts about going why not give them a ring on 01248 714795 or email them ( I am not allowed to give web-links in this answer) - I am sure they will be only to happy to help answer any queries.
