The Slavic people are a race that descends from Indo-European roots that once shared a common language as well as area of descent. Today, the majority of these people — also called "Slavs" — live in Central and Eastern Europe.

Some East European/Balkan nations are likely descended from the sons of Abraham via Keturah. My research has been devoted primarily to tracing the descendants of the Israelite tribes, but others have done more research into the origins of the Polish, East Europeans, and Slavic peoples.

While history records little of the origins of the Slavs, biblically, they are identified as descendants of Shem, the progenitor of the Caucasian races. They descended through Elam, son of Shem (Genesis 10:22), and the Medes descended from Japheth (verse 2).

But as the other Slavic speaking peoples, they are related to a common Slavic ancestor. When you look at what part the Macedonians inhabit, its still Macedonia. There is a greater chance they would be related or connected to the Ancient Macedonians then they would be to Ancient Athenians, Spartans or Cretans.
