Saxony Saxony is a federal state in the east of Germany. It contains the two largest and most important cities in eastern Germany other than Berlin: Leipzig and Dresden.

10/12/2018 · Yes, Saxon ‘Switzerland’ is in fact in Germany. It’s south of the city of Dresden, part of the huge Sächsische Schweiz National Park. We were starting a walk, a 110km trail called the Malerweg (here’s our Malerweg guide). It was Spring in Saxon Switzerland but you wouldn’t know it. Crazy cold weather had swept Europe.

Saxony Kromlau The village is in the Sorbian settlement area of the Upper Lusatia is mainly known for the Azalea and Rhododendron Park Kromlau, the largest rhododendron park in Germany, and its " Devil's Bridge ".
