The Upper and Middle Paleolithic were two unique periods in the history of human beings. During the Middle Stone Age, the tools tradition started to adopt a complex tone. Tools manufactured in this stage were more complex as compared to the Acheulean that was used in the Earlier Stone Age (Rukang & Olsen, 2016).
