19/10/2004 · The case of CCCP is confusing, because unlike most Russian acronyms it is made up entirely of characters that can be expressed in standard Latin letters. No one uses the Russian acronym for CPSU because it has characters like π (pi if that doesn't show up) that do not exist in the standard Roman alphabet.

Russia USSR / CCCP 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 50 Kopeks (Fakes are possible) 1958 to 1991. The modern Russian alphabet with Cyrillic script looks enough like Latin letters that most westerners try to do transliteration.
