What was the extent of the Japanese empire under Tojo's control? Whenever I look into what they controlled or owned I always get conflicting reports. I know for a fact they owned Manchuria and the Korea's, but other nations are sometimes mentioned …

It dominated the northern cities of China, controlled the puppet state of Manchuria, administered Taiwan, and ruled the prosperous southern port cities.
