Gondwana is a Southern Hemisphere supercontinent comprised principally of South America, Africa, Arabia, Madagascar, India, Antarctica, and Australia ( Figure 7.2 ). It formed in the latest Neoproterozoic and was largely completed by the Early Cambrian (600-550 Ma).
