A must see monument and UNESCO site or works heritage. Absolutely stunning. This place inspired the Haggia Sofia in Istanbul! You must add it to your list! €11 for the combined ticket to see 5 sights… Full review by greenpanther30

I don't remember the hours, but we toured it without a guide. I would add that some stores in Ravenna close at noon and stay closed until 2 or 3. We visited San Vitale in the late morning and went shopping for mosaics after lunch. Big mistake-many of the mosaic shops were closed.
