We visited the Colosseum on Thursday (yesterday) and was planning to go back to explore Palatine Hill today, but after a series of unfortunate events, we arrived after the admission gate closed. I know tickets are valid for two consecutive days, but has anyone ever tried to use the ticket on the third day with any luck? Just trying to visit tomorrow (Saturday) without paying again. Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I did not have a similar experience. Just try your old tickets. It does not cost anything to try.

This must see attraction opens at 8:30 in the morning. Try to be there when it opens as Italy can be quite hot in the summer. You will need to bring water and sunblock with you. Enjoy!
