Al-Muwaffaq (الموفق, le chanceux) ou Abû Ahmad al-Muwaffaq Tahla (أبو أحمد الموفق طلحة) est né en 842. Il était un des fils du dixième calife abbasside Ja`far al-Mutawakkil.
