Carl Paul Gottfried Linde, seit 1897 Ritter von Linde, (* 11. Juni 1842 in Berndorf bei Thurnau; † 16. November 1934 in München) war ein deutscher Ingenieur, Erfinder und Gründer eines heute internationalen Konzerns, der Linde plc. Mithilfe seines Linde-Verfahrens war die Entwicklung der ersten Kühlschränke mit heutiger Kühltechnik möglich.
