  1. Linear analysis

Circuit theory is a linear analysis; i.e., the voltage-current relationships for R, L, and C are linear relationships, as R, L, and C are considered to be constants over a large range of voltage and currents.

    What is electrical circuit theory?
Electric circuit theory is one of the most vital aspects of electrical engineering. Understanding how components work individually and collectively is the basis for designing, manufacturing, and troubleshooting all kinds of electronic devices and systems. This article will cover the basic circuit components, laws, and parameters in electrical engineering.

What are the laws of circuit theory?
We can find the value of current flowing through a circuit using Ohm’s law which states that the current between any two points is proportional to the potential difference between them. The equation is I = V/R (Where I is current, V is voltage, and R is resistance).

Which book is best for circuit theory?
ckt theory I'm searching for a good book in circuit theory. So far I've read a couple of books: Boylestad, Nilsson and Alexander & Sadiku. Boylestad is ok but tries to minimize to math and derivations are also left out. So far I find Alexander & Sadiku the best one. Common for all these books is the phasor-method used in ac-analysis.

    What is DC circuit theory?
There are two types of current, direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC). DC is current that flows in one direction with a constant voltage polarity while AC is current that changes direction periodically along with its voltage polarity. Thomas Edison and Alessandro Volta were pioneers in DC current and wrote much of electricity’s history.

Monetary circuit theory is a heterodox theory of monetary economics, particularly money creation, often associated with the post-Keynesian school. It holds that money is created endogenously by the banking sector, rather than exogenously by central bank lending; it is a theory of endogenous money. It is also called circuitism and the circulation approach.
