Các tác phẩm do ông viết hầu như toàn là thể thơ sáu âm tiết hoặc đôi câu bi thương, thường thuộc vào ba loại chính gồm những bài thơ đề tặng cho Honorius và Stilicho cùng một thiên sử thi thần thoại.
