The Continuation War was a war between Finland and the Soviet Union. It was fought between June 25, 1941 and September 19, 1944. It continued the Winter War. Nazi Germany helped Finland as part of the Eastern Front (World War II). The ceasefire started on September 4 at 7.00 am in the Finnish side. The Soviet Union's ceasefire started on September 5.
