The Fajr prayer (Arabic: صلاة الفجر ṣalāt al-fajr, "dawn prayer") is one of the five mandatory salah (Islamic prayer), to be performed anytime starting from the moment of dawn, but not after sunrise.As an Islamic day starts at sunset, the Fajr prayer is technically the third prayer of the day. Iran's annual Fajr International Film Festival (Persian: جشنواره بین‌المللی فیلم فجر), or Fajr Film Festival (little: FIFF; Persian: جشنواره فیلم فجر), has been held every February and April in Tehran since 1982. The festival is supervised by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.It takes place on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
