Jelgava (saks. Mitau, ven. Елгава / Митава, puol. Mitawa) on kaupunki Keski-Latviassa Lielupe-joen varrella noin 45 km lounaaseen Riiasta. Sen asukasluku oli vuoden 2016 väestönlaskennassa noin 61 000 ja se on Zemgalen suurin kaupunki. Se oli (nimellä Mitau) Kuurinmaan herttuakunnan ja kuvernementin pääkaupunki.
