The Justice and Development Party (Turkish: Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, Turkish pronunciation: [adaːˈlet ve kaɫkɯnˈma paɾtiˈsi]; AKP), abbreviated officially AK Parti in Turkish, is a political party in Turkey self-describing as conservative-democrat.
