Lion of Saint Mark ( Leone di San Marco) was a short-lived political party active in Veneto and the forerunner of many Venetian nationalist parties. It was named after the symbol of the Republic of Venice, the Lion of Saint Mark . The party was founded in 1921 by Italico Corradino Cappellotto, a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the Italian People's Party.
