Madhhab, [ˈmaðhab] (arabisch مذهب, DMG maḏhab, Plural: madhāhib مذاهب / maḏāhib, [maˈðaːhɪb]), bezeichnet im Bereich des Islams eine Lehrrichtung in der Rechtsnormenlehre (Fiqh), die sich sowohl durch bestimmte Prinzipien der Normenfindung (Usūl al-fiqh) als auch durch besondere Einzelregelungen (furūʿ) auszeichnet.
