    在數學、語義學和語言哲學中,複合性原理是指,一個複雜表達式的意義是由其各組成部分的意義以及用以結合它們的規則來決定的。
    複合性原理認為,在有意義的句子中,如果實詞部分被從句子中脫離出去,所剩下的東西就是複合的規則。例如句子「蘇格拉底是哲學家」。一旦有意義的詞法項「蘇格拉底」和「哲學家」被取走,剩下了偽句子「蘇是哲」。其作用為描述「蘇」和「哲」之關係。
