Is prototype the same as a demo?
Prototypes, on the other hand, are internally-facing; they exist to help the business answer key questions like “can we even build this?” or “should we build X or Y?” A prototype is similar to a demo in scope. But the audience and the goal make them fundamentally different.

      Is prototype worth it?
The reviews for Prototype are pretty good, and I can see why. It's a very imaginative game and well worth buying if you see it on sale. It's fast-paced with lots to do, many side missions and challenges, lots of upgrades which are worth getting and lots of mayhem in general. It's a bit like Grand Theft Auto on steroids. A bit pricey at full price.

Prototypes, broadly speaking, can mean just about any design that is intended to explore or specify a solution. But in software, more commonly, it does include some kind of interactive nature—otherwise we tend to say things like sketch, drawing, wireframe, or mockup.
