Saginaw (/ ˈ s æ ɡ ɪ n ɔː /) is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the seat of Saginaw County. The city of Saginaw and Saginaw County are both in the area known as Mid-Michigan. Saginaw is adjacent to Saginaw Charter Township and considered part of Greater Tri-Cities region of Central Michigan.The Saginaw County MSA had a population of 190,124 in 2020.

Saginaw Bay is a bay within Lake Huron located on the eastern side of the U.S. state of Michigan.It forms the space between Michigan's Thumb region and the rest of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan.Saginaw Bay is 1,143 square miles (2,960 km 2) in area.
