The name is variously found written Wolf's Caves, Wolf Cave and Wolf Caves. According to the sign over the hotel in the early 20th century, it should be Wolf Caves, but there is actually only one cave at the bottom of the cliff, so Wolf Cave would be more accurate. It is located in the area of the city of Kristinestad in the coastal hinterland of Ostrobothnia. With an area of around 400 m², it is the largest cave in Finland.
