A Google Books search shows that Vassiliev definitely has Sept 18 as the unification date, but the majority of sources say it was the 23rd, and besides, Saudi Arabia's National Day is celebrated on the 23rd, so I would think that Vassiliev has it wrong. howcheng 22:28, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
