Under Corona rules you buy tickets online and when you want to access the main exhibition (e.g. Carravagio and Bernini), that part is on a time slot. You are subsequently free to roam all other sections of the Rijks at your leisure. July is the holiday season in the Netherlands, but most visitors before Corona were from other countries. If during your envisaged time period international restrictions are still in place, the museum is not crowded. Hope this gives you some indication, go for Mondays in the Rijks if possible.

The museum contains porcelain, jewellery, statues, paintings, furniture, musical instruments and virtually everything mankind has made through the centuries that has for modern day man a unique fascination. Suggest you look on the website for further info. If it is not what you seek, the Amsterdam website itself has a good list of museums, events and activities for the coming months. Hope you enjoy it, it is a wonderful place.

I recommend you book in advance particularly to get the tour in english which is really worthwhile unless you are already expert in Dutch and World/Asian art

We were just there two weeks ago off-season/mid-November and walked right in midday with absolutely no lines. Absolute loved the museum and no crowds whatsoever for the several hours we were there. Only other museum we saw was the main palace in three days there. I do not necessarily recommend the iams pass during offseason as the city itself is such a museum and you may not do one true museum after another.
