If you’re into history this monument is worth a visit - even if you’re not you really should go. Boats go from the waterside in Gdańsk very regularly but buses also stop here and obviously are a lot … Full review by KathrynM93

Straightforward. Arrive at Harbour-side in centre Gdasnk and board the water tram in front of the Hilton hotel at Targ Rybny. Arrive at around 09:30 or 12;00 for the hours journey to Westerplatte. Take note there are only around 3 return journeys a day. Alternatively, there is a regular "Pirate Ship" departing every two-hours between 10;00-16:00 that travel between Gdasnk and Westerplatte. Cost is around 4-6 Euros each way.
