With the advent of two new compiler switches, /std:c11and /std:c17, we are officially supporting the latest ISO C language standards. What’s in:

@Lundin: There were three TCs for C99 (incorporated into N1256 ). It's possible the rules have changed since then. According to GCC reference, C17 is actually a bug-fix version of the C11 standard with DR resolutions integrated. C17, a bug-fix version of the C11 standard with DR [Defect Report] resolutions integrated, will soon go to ballot.

The C Language Standard version is used when the language is C – this will be the default when the file extension is .c. To ensure the project is building with C11 or C17, you must ensure it is a .cfile, or set the code to compile as C in the Properties tab. After these project changes, you’re ready to test out C11 and C17! In Conclusion

The link is to the N1570 draft of the C11 standard. Some very minor changes were made between that draft and the final released standard. The C11 standard itself is only available for purchase so, for people like me, @JohnBode, and the general public, N1570 is the best we've got for C11 (without paying money).
